Saturday Night Shindig: Miami Coral Park Class of 70 Turns 70!
What a memorable night was had by all who attended! We had an incredible memorabilia table, which I unfortunately did not get a picture of, but many classmates brought mementos to share. Sharon Rady and Linda Wheeler even brought their cheerleader megaphones for display! There was laughing, talking, eating, talking, dancing to tunes from our times...what a blast we had!
We had some awards for, traveling furthest were Maria Carvahal who came from Spain to meet up with her high school friends Christine Campbell and Silvia Canaves. Also Christine Campbell and Linda Morrison who traveled from California! Most Children: Stanley Goldenberg and Robert Penna with 11 and 12 children! Many prizes of amazing photograph collages by the photos of Denise Gomez, Linda Morrision and Marilyn Rifkin were handed out. The highlight of the evening was 'trying' to get a class photo of our group. Let's just say it was a process lol. Decked in our reunion shirts, we got them done after some funny maneuvering!
Ivy Morbach with Eve Tysinger, Kathy Hayashi, Marcie Madden and Susan Kranz led our class in a rousing, beautiful rendition of the Coral Park Alma Mater. Everyone joined in with only a few missed words, but everyone remembered the ending! Enjoy it below!
